Set the unit system for viewing data values

Choose a system of measurement units for display.

Click Tools > Settings.
On the Units tab of the Settings dialog, select a Preferred unit system from the drop down list e.g. US Customary
Click Apply.

Notes

This setting determines the units in which data is displayed e.g. mass in kilograms (kg) in the 'Metric' unit system or pounds (lb) in the 'US Customary' unit system.

The value of "<None>" means that the default unit system stored in the database is used. The value of "<Automatic>" means that the default unit system from the regional settings of your operating system is used.

Changing the unit system has the following effects:

In the current project:
- The record data and selection criteria in all stages will update.
- Axis titles of selection charts will also update, with the following exceptions: single attribute axis titles that have been edited; and combined attribute user-defined axis titles.
- For a selection chart with a combined (user-defined) attribute, in some circumstances the chart may lose all labeling (both data and text).
Any new projects will use the selected unit system.
When a project is saved and opened at a later date, the data will be displayed using the currently selected unit system in GRANTA EduPack, and not those at the time of saving.

Changing the preferred unit system does not affected the stored data in the database, only the way the data is displayed in GRANTA EduPack.
