Highlight synthesized records on a chart
This feature is not available with GRANTA EduPack 2020 Introductory.
In the Chart Stage window, synthesized records are plotted in orange by default, but you can make these records more prominent on a chart by plotting only the synthesized records in color.
- Click
on the Chart Stage toolbar to highlight synthesized records on the chart.
- If you have not made a selection:
- all synthesized records and source records will stay colored
- all other records will be plotted in white
- If you have made a selection:
- synthesized records that pass will stay colored
- synthesized records and source records that fail will be plotted in gray
- all other records will be plotted in white
- If you have not made a selection:
- To stop highlighting synthesized records, click again.
Notes
- Synthesized records are only plotted on a chart if the source records have a value for the attributes plotted on the chart axes.

If you choose to highlight another category of record at the same time (such as a reference record, favorites or user defined records), they will all be highlighted in the same way.
- The synthesized records are saved in the current selection project.
