Environmental data usage

All environmental data required by the Eco Audit tool that relates to materials and processes is stored in the standard material datasheets.

This data is used in a couple of ways:

The environmental data listed in a typical material database record and its use by the Eco Audit Tool is summarized below:

Primary production energy data is used for material energy and CO2 calculations. Processing energy data determines primary and secondary process options, and is used in primary processing energy and CO2 calculations. Recycling and end of life data is used to calculate material and end of life recycling and combustion energy and CO2 calculations.
